In May 2005, the original gymnasium was renovated into a Performing and Fine Arts Center. It features a 295-seat theater with a thrust stage and art gallery space. It is used for student theater productions, musical concerts, student art displays, and for various presentations, assemblies, and guest speakers.
Rose Theatre Company
Assumption's student theater company is open to all students who enjoy drama. The company gives students an opportunity to develop their acting talent or technical skill through the rehearsal process. Performances give the students an opportunity to share their mastered skill with the community.
The Rose Theatre Company will be performing Cinderella at Assumption on:
- November 6, 2008 through November 8 at 7 p.m.
- November 9, 2008 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m.
- November 14, 2008 through November 15 at 7 p.m.
- November 16, 2008 at 2 p.m.

The AHS Music program holds choral and instrumental concerts in the winter and spring in the Performing and Fine Arts Center 2008-2009 concert dates:
- December 11, 7:00 p.m. - Christmas Choral Concert
- December 16, 7:00 p.m. - Christmas Instrumental Concert
- May 05, 7:00 p.m. - Spring Choral Concert
- May 07, 7:00 p.m. - Spring Instrumental Concert
