Life after Assumption…

Strong academics, including the Advanced Placement program and an integrated confidence curriculum, promote the development of Assumption students into self-assured young women who are ready for college and beyond. The lessons she will learn at Assumption, she truly will carry with her for life.

The Class of 2008:

Received more than $12.3 million in college scholarships for 60% of students, including 542 scholarships from 63 colleges and universities and 11 organizations and companies.
Sent 99% of all students on to college
Graduated seven students who were recognized by the National Merit Corporation
Yielded 13 students who were accepted to the Governor’s Scholars Program
Produced seven students who were accepted to the Governor’s School for the Arts
Produced 10 Kentucky Department of Education Commonwealth Diploma recipients
Yielded eight AP Scholars
Graduated one Girls Nation Participant
Produced one Congressional Art Award winner
Had one recipient of the American Voices and Visions Award from the Scholastic Art and Writing Awards
Graduated one student designated by the Prudential Spirit of Community Awards as a Spirit of Excellence Award winner who also earned the President’s Volunteer Service Award
Earned 2,735 hours of college credit through the AP program and the CP program
Performed 43,847 hours of community service throughout Jefferson County
