Mind, Body and Spirit Capital Campaign

At Assumption, we promote academic excellence to develop the mind, athletic achievement to develop the body, and artistic expression to develop the heart and spirit.  We believe that scholastic involvement and participation in sports, clubs, and extracurricular activities help students develop skills that lead to success in society and other areas of life.  We are wholly dedicated to programs in academics, spirituality, athletics, and arts that help young women become independent and self-confident.

The Assumption experience allows students to discover who they are in a constructive environment that interactively teaches values and helps them make positive life choices.   To meet the increasing needs of students and families who desire an Assumption education, we have begun fundraising for the Mind, Body and Spirit capital campaign.  Areas of the campaign include:

  • Renovation of the former gymnasium into a performing and fine arts center,
  • Purchase and construction of the sports, recreation and training center, and
  • Increasing support to our endowment.

If you would like to join us in supporting the Mind, Body and Spirit capital campaign or need more information, please call Mary Beth O'Reilly at (502) 458-6258.  Every contribution is an opportunity to help young women realize their dreams and we appreciate your consideration.

New Playing Fields

Playing Fields

Thanks to the generosity of the Assumption community, parents, alumnae and friends we have completed Phase I of the Mind, Body and Spirit Campaign for Assumption’s new playing fields. Field hockey and soccer teams have already completed their seasons on the new Rocket turf. Phase II fundraising of the campaign will include support for the new Sports, Recreation and Training Center to be located on the fields at the corner of Newburg Road and Leghorn Drive (recently renamed Champion Trace Lane). For more information on how you can support the fundraising efforts for the Sports, Recreation, and Training Center, Performing and Fine Arts Center, or the school’s endowment for future scholarships, please contact the Advancement office at 502-458-6258.
